I ordered this baby back in October from Ed @ Boise Bass Co. I never really ordered a bass before
or had ever spent a whole lot of money on a bass before but with the price he gave me on the bass I couldn't resist.
To make a long story short...months and months later(about 5-6 months) and TONS of emails back and forth I finally recieved my bass today. I gave it a quick run through and it plays perfectly ( havent gotten a chance to take off the plastic off the PG) Here it is...Lakland USA Joe Osborn, birdseye maple board, 3 tone sunburst on an ash body! I love this bass!

    hope you enjoy the pics

nice...I really llike the chrome on black stacked knobs. I've never seen or heard of doing that before, but it looks killer.

Awesome! Now make sure to keep flatwounds on it and play it with a pick. :)

I've got one (bought it used) and love it. Really does the sixties thing well.

Can't speak for anyone else but , no, it doesn't need blocks on the fretboard.

of course it doesnt need them. But I'm a sucker for blocks and not big on dots.

  8. It doesn't get much better than that. The USA Joe Osborn is the best of the Jazz clones I've played. Congrats on a beautiful bass.

  10. Wow... that is one of the nicest looking basses I have ever seen. How does it sound? Could you describe the sound? Oh man, that is SO beautiful.

Does it sound like this (the 61 Jazz)

    Mucho !

You don't see many threads about USA Laklands any more. IMHO, they are among the best.

I wonder how much the Skyline sales have cut into the USA sales?

    Congrats on a wonderful bass.
