I am so stoked. I just got this 4-94 Deluxe flame top w' d-tuner from Beaver & Grasshopper. I should get it by next week.
Thanks man. I noticed it on their website and called them right away. I never saw a Lakland like this one and I am a sucker for natural finishes.
Im a fan of natural finishes and black finishes with maple fingerboards (birdseye is icing on the cake too).
Yep...Natural and Black for me too. I had a black 4-94 standard that I should of never sold. This one goes to the grave with me
OUCH! My eyeballs are scorched from the flame Dan & crew make class axes and that's a fine example. Enjoy! Ken
I'm not a big fan of the line seperating the flamed top, nor do I like Bartolini electronics. Have fun with that bass though!
Again that Flame looks amazing .... Im sure she will play beautifully as well... and of course you know the tone is there ... are you using the case you have or does this one come with the hardshell... I wont go on here but... that RV4 KILLS!!!!!! KILLS I say! I love it. - Tom
that's a beautiful bass , it should be a good companion for your Joe Osborn !! got any headstock shots ?
I received the Hard case from you and it is awesome!! It is white leather with LAKLAND silkscreened on the fron and the inside is more plush with more room to store stuff. These NEW 2006 LAKLAND cases ROCK!! This bass comes with the same GNARLY case. I always get hooked up at Bass Central. The guys are really cool and I have spent a lot of $$$ there so they treat me right. PS I dropped your case off at your MOMS house because I was at Band practice in Lynbrook. It in your backyard. Thanks again bro!
Im glad you dropped it off ... thanks man. I wished I would have seen the new cases, Post a pic whenever you have a chance, if you can. - Tom
I will. My camera is messed up but as soon as I get it fixed I will post pics. They look really vintage. They are white with Black binding and LAKLAND screened on the top just like it is on the headstock. The inside has about 30% more padding than the older cases too. Thanks again
Joey, you can getmuch better looking than that 44-94 of yours. A flame top and a birdseye fingerboard is the bassguitar equivalent of perfection. Enjoy it, I know I would.
