I don't feel like pulling out the digital camera, so I'll just use the pic from the EB page.
nice bass, I'm going to order a sterling this week
Classic good looks.
i adore my sterling, next one i get will be fretless or maple fretboard (currently have a rosewood).
Nice! What's your take on the Limited Ed. Buttercream colour w/ tort guard, I'm lovin' one like that with the maple neck and matching headstock at L&M, great sounds to be had and one of the nicer necks imo. Cheers
Black on black with maple neck is one of my favorite combos!
mmmmm. Buttercream. That combo is on my GAS list for sure. Maybe fretless even.
the ltd buttercream is exactly what I REALLY wanted, but I guess they weren't doing them in lefty. I had talked to the guitar guys at my L&M about it.
Black/Black or Cherry/Black were my 2nd choice.
This bass has the most sustain I've ever heard, I don't have to strike a note, just a tap and it rings forever.
The maple fretboard is fantastic.
Its a lefty version of mine excellent choice
very, very nice robot, glad to see a lefty version of the sterling. wonderin how much that baby ran yah
1700 canadian, its usually an extra 100 for lefty basses.
add that to the list of things that suck about being southpaw
I really dig the black w maple neck ,Is it ash under the black? without ckecking your profile what are you pumping her through?
you know, i'm not sure what the body wood is. I didn't ask, i took it on face value that it just sounded damn good.
I'm going through a YBA200 and a GK 410blx cab, but I'm going to replace the cab with either the 210/15 or 8x8 cab from traynor/yorkville.
I demo'd the bass on a yba going through the 210/15 and it was awesome.
Sweet bass! I hope you enjoy it!
Sweet, but dude - it's backwards!
Sweet , You diggin' the YBA, I'd like one of those also, with the 8x8 or the Bergy nv610, I bet it would smoke with the Bergy
yba owns, it crunches nicely, has a big booming clean tone, pretty much goes where ever you like it once you get a handle on the gain settings.
its svt-ish, but i find its clearer.
it would do really well on a berg, or even an ampeg 610
I used to have a black sparkle Sterling.....sometimes wish I'd never sold it! I'm definately a fan of the black and maple board as well, great choice mate and enjoy the new bass.
