I just got my new NYC Sadowsky and I must say-IT IS FROCKIN' FANTASTIC!!!!!! I have been playing basses since 1973 and I have had them ALL! My poor old Dad took me to the local music store and bought me a used 1962 Pecision Bass for my first intrument in '73...I have had Old Fender Jazz basses,Telecaster basses,Precisions,Gibson EB3's,Tobias,Modulus,Warwick,MusicMan-including B series,Stingrays,Sterlings...Custom Colored Fender '60's basses,G&L,Lakland-the list goes on & on!!!But the BEST PLAYING,SOUNDING and LOOKING basses that I have EVER owned came from Roger Sadowsky! My new Vintage Jazz Seafoam Green with matching headstock,21 frets, brazilian rosewood with pearl dots is SO GREAT that I have been thinking of actually having it GRAFTED to me!!!I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!! If you get one-YOU WILL KNOW!!!!!

Awesome collection bike. I especially dig the black one. I'm having one made like that during next year ;)

Hey trout, did you go with a bell cover & pickguard?

Thanx. Smokin fast neck on that one plus the '70's tone is a cool change for me

Congrats on your new Sadowsky. I have two vintage fives with single-coil JJs and LED. I absolutely LOVE them!

  18. Maple fingerboards are just so nice! They go with every color too!! Unlike my ebony unlined fretless, where my fingers match the color of the board after the gig....

  19. Congrats! I continue to be amazed everytime I pick up one of my Sadowskys. They just always sound "right" and play like a dream. I've never played a better instrument.
