just to say that i'm HAPPY!!!
a couple of weeks ago i was forced to sell my gibson thunderbird bass. today i bought a new bass. it's a beatiful and great sounding MIA Fender Precision bass. it's black with black pickguard maple meck and fretboard with black dot inlays. i was looking for that precision sound for too long and i i found it in this beautiful bass. not to speak about the wonderful look.i love it!!!

I must congradulate you on becoming the
owner of one of the best bass guitars
    that was ever made. :D

I have a black MIA and I changed my pick
guard to black moto-pearl and slapped a
set of pbass split barts in it and nothing
can touch it. And I mean nothing.

  3. Hi Marco, how r u?
Why did you sell your Gibson? I remember you were very happy with this bass... and, what about your RIC? Did you find the vintage pickups?

    Anyway, congratulation, I love P-basses :)

You got a great bass dude,I love my mia p bass!!
How do you like the maple neck? Does it change the sound much? Mine has a rosewood fretboard and is violet w/ white pickguard.

Nothing beats a classic!!! ;)

    hi guys!! thanks for sharing!!
the MIA p i bought is a new one, the american series, with string thru body. the maple neck is a little bit brighter that rosewood, but that's a really minimal difference. the bass has monstrous attack and sounds really really good, neck is really confortable. i bought it a a "low price" it was an ex-demo with minor scratches on the back of the body.

marcinkus i was forced to sell my thunderbird due to university taxes, when i bought tht beast i forgot i had to pay that tax, so i was forced to sell it to pay the dues... luckly i sold it for the same price i bought. than i recieved a payment for a work i did and all the money went on a marshall jmp1 preamp (used) and on the MIA precision. unluckly i don't have the vintage pickups for the rick.. usa seller do not sale anymore outside USA and the italian distributor has only the bridge pickup at a monstrous price. more than 600.000 £...

    fai un pò te...
comunque adesso non ho più una lira. aspetterò sviluppi per il futuro.

Unfortunately, I had to produce too many kinds of tones in my present "gig" so I moved onto a bass with more pickups and knobs. I still want to get one again when I have a few extra dollars. However, my Stingray 5 is black with black pickguard with maple neck and black dots it memory of the old P.

Congrats, I've always dug the P-bass sound, I still would like to get an MIM P-bass, and put an SD preamp and pup in it. :)

I think I even dig the P-bass sound more than the Jazz sound.
