My new Ristola!

    It picked it up last week from my favorite shop, Rock City Guitars in MA and I love it!

    mahogany core, flame maple facing and rear, pau ferro board, DiMarzio P-J, badass bridge, 34" scale

    I'm glad someone on here picked that one up.
    It's a beauty, I played it in there a few weeks ago.

    I'm waiting for someone to drop off a fretless Ristola, it will be mine so quickly...
    Wish I could afford to order one straight from him.

    I love Brian's work! Congrats. Glad to see someone finally pick that bass up.

    Just to let everyone know, this is not a design that Brian normally does. It was ordered with that body shape by Rockcity Guitars. You can see Brian Ristola's usual stuff at his website, www.ristolainstruments.com.

    Brian's a great builder. He does some very cool work. Congratulations. Is that a Bolivian rosewood fingerboard? Very cool.

    yeah, as everyone has mentioned, Brian is a great builder. Actually I think that I tried your bass a year ago when that Seafoam Green one was at Cory's shop... Sounded and felt great!
