Very sweet, I've played two 24 frets a Metro Maple and Tombowlus 25th anniversary, both were very cool!

Schweeet! How did you decide upon the 5-24 over the standard 5?

    Several reasons really..
1.) I have a 2004 MIA Jazz Deluxe 5 so have got that type of bass covered. Nothing else gives you that Fender tone, I keep getting asked for the Fender (particularly session recording work) and I didnt want another Jazz pickup type bass in the stable.
2.)There are a couple of pieces that I play which require 23 frets.
3.) I also owned a Metro 24F for a while and felt very comfortable with.
4.) the 24F Sadowsky is the best looker of their range (for me anyway).

Thanks, quite bright very similar to maple. Dont think I'll hear the difference in a live setting but with recording I might, we'll see. To be honest I just love the look of ebony. I play flamenco guitar and love the ebony boards you get on that type of instrument.
