My new Spector

Not a bad deal. New they sell for about $850 with out a case and you got yours for $600 with a case and a gigbag.

Lucky you! I had my eye on that one and I think you got a heck of a deal especially since it's not a common color. The ReBops you see on the bay are usually sunburst models. Nice score!

I don't know why people keep asking if it was a good deal after having bought the bass - why don't they research before bidding?

 

I think it's just a case of the usual buyer's remorse that sets in quickly after making a deal. Just about any deal will give us the feeling of doubt once the payment is made; Did I pay too much? Is the item what I really want? Is there something that I didn't see? Even if we pay a low price, we ask ourselves, "Why so cheap? What am I missing?"

Luckily, the feelings of doubt usually go away quickly and we get to enjoy our new purchase.

They sound ok through it... better through the Aggie/GK setup I normally use.

 

That is a good deal really. Especially with the case and stuff. Goodf luck finding other basses that sound like that for $600. I have a white rebop with an Aguilar pre. Killer bass. I play through a GK and a Hartke.
