Got a sweet deal on this little jem a couple weeks ago. It was defretted a long time ago, and I can't play fretless to save my life, so I swapped necks with my Jazz bass. It plays and sounds brilliant! Here are the (crappy) pics, as promised....

    Description from left to right:

    DSC00516.

'63 Fender Jazz, '66 Fender Precision, and the '78 Precision w/ Jazz neck.

    DSC00519.

    '78 Spector NS1, '89 EBMM SR5, and '78 MM Stingray

    DSC00521.

Yamaha TRB5 (my main gigging bass), '69 Hagstrom 8-string, Fender MIA Jazz w/ the swapped fretless Precision neck.

    DSC00525.

'91 Warwick SSII, '85 Wal Mk1, Acacia Custom

All are fantastic instruments and all get playing time. I count my blessings daily.:D

Some real gems in that lot, lbpark  !

You should post those pics on the "Show Your Basses" thread, then they'll get the exposure that they deserve :smug: .

P.S. Can I have your '63 Jazz Bass, please?
