I must say this has been the most incredible 5 string I have ever played. I absolutely love everything about it.
My wife even said it was gorgeous. And she's been with me for over 80 basses. Some more photos here.

FENDER BASS VI FOR SALE If you want the Fender Bass VI to be reissued..write this guy (he can
do something about this) jshannon@fender.com and tell him:

    1) how you feel about the Fender Bass VI not being reissued
    2) tell him to please spread the word around Fender
    3) tell him to make it affordable and have different colors available
    4) tell him who you are
    5) if applicable, tell him how many people you know that would buy it

When you are done, start posting his email address on the internet to
people who are in search of a Fender Bass VI. Email me back if you
want and let me know. We can do something about this.

Congratualations, you don't see many with a maple board! There will always be a Roscoe in my arsenal.
