This is not spam. I built this for me. Whatcha all think. Thought I'd give the Truefire a try.... Specs are: Benavente SC4 bolt-on, Alder body, Ironwood neck, maple board, Benavente 3 band EQ, Benavente wide pickups, Hipshot hardware.... My one question is, black or chrome hardware????? Thanks in advance for the input. See ya all at NAMM (those that are going that is)...

Very...flamey. Looks very good, unfortunately im not really into flames but if i was, thatd kickass, because they are done very well. Id go with black hardware.

Very nice!! I would go with the black hardware. IMO, chrome would take away from the great flame job.

I'd keep the hardware black... On a really dark stage all you'll see are the flames!

    Nice work, as always!

That flame paint job is way nice, I'm gonna have to say chrome, Like a classic '32 Ford Coupe hotrod, very nice.....however I agree somewhat with Jason, black would make the flames stand out more....

I detest the look of singlecut basses.

    I want this one!

OOohh momma! I'm droolin for that singlecut bass!

Chrome hardware gets my vote. Like the flame paintjobs on custom cars in the 60's and 70's. Black flame and chrome make a nice combo.

I say chrome, add some contrast like the cars back then like them all up there says.

    Who did the paint job?
  15. man, that is just sick!!! i'm a sucker for flames, that's the shizzle!!! it looks so much more classy than some of those goofy BC rich and Jackson flame job thingys.. especially with the singlecut.

black hardware for sure. chrome would be too much of a wierd contrast. Gold. now that might be sick.. get the gold to match up with the flamey stuff... wow.. i'm impressed for sure.

A friend of mine that works down at the paint store....This was his 3rd attemp at Truefire. I'm learning to do it as well. Kinda tricky to do. Each one we do should look better than the last.
