My old Bass, modified

    My first bass was a Hohner Rockwood Jazz, it served me well until i got my new wesley (Thread on it here)
    So I decided give the old Defretting a go. However once i'd done that I decided i liked wood finishes as well, so i took all the paint of the front at back of the bass, leaving only the sides in the original blue (looks pretty nice i think)
    So here is a picture of what it used to look like:
    And here she is with all the work done:
    So what do you guys think?

    Looks very interesting.
    Didn't even know Hohner made basses.
    Oh but can you play that bass with the action so high??

    To be honest the action isnt as high as the pictures make it look, but i really should get around to adjusting it, it would make things so much easier.
    oh if only i could find an alan key that fits... :bawl:
