    Hello to all,
    :)
Well I'm very exited. I know you read this type of post every 2 days but wanted to share it with you.
In march, I've ordered a Roscoe LG3005 from Bass Northwest.
Well after 6 months waiting and dispearing, it finaly on its way to my home. One or two day left before the Fed. truck stop to my house. I'm so impatient.

Someone here had been very helpful to me, sending pics, answering stupid questions and so one...
    ;)
So to celebrate it and my registration to TB, this is a few pics to give you a little taste of it. Keep in mind this is some pics taken during the building process and not the final result.

    ;)

Sure it will serve me well but
    :(
I've just realised that my pics have not been accepted. Apparently they are too large (550 ko).

Open your "Paint" application and use the "stretch and skew" to downsize the pic and then save it. That works.

Congratulations! I know you can't wait until it arrives! I've been playing Roscoe's for about 10 years and love 'em! See if you can't get the pic's posted and give us a review after it arrives.

OK, OK. I see Jome has stopped in. I'm here now, and any minute BassGruvitas will be in too. Gard not far behind. And a few others too.

Congratulations! Join the family of Roscoeheads.

As you know, you must learn how to post pictures before you actually get the bass. We're going to want to see it.

Very very nice bass...yes, I'm prejudiced, but it IS a nice bass.

    ...sigh...

    Yes Gard, Ludo here !

    And you broke the surprise
    :ninja:
    :ninja:

Sorry Gard but I had to do it, you knew too much secrets, you had to disapear
    :ninja:

    ;)

More seriously, yes this will be a smoking beauftiful Roscoe, I think oil finish is not so commun on Roscoe but for me it is the only way to vibrate with the instrument, to get in contact with it.
But this will be a great instrument only when French customs will give it to me !
    :ninja:

Only two days were necessary for it to travel from US west coast to east and flight all through the atlantic which is somethousands kilometters.
And now, it have been in paris for four days at only 250 km from home with that statu "delay for customs".

    Jay,
Based on some of the tops that you've gotten your hands on, I'm not taking that bet! :rollno:

I almost feel sorry for Gard.........................but then again, he's around Roscoe's all day and I have leave mine at home while I go to work.........He's actually the lucky one! ;)

Of course he does control the destiny of my new Roscoe!

Maybe I should be more compassionate...... :meh: :meh:

Ludo, it will be worth the wait...seeing as I get to pack and ship every bass...and I do the final check...I got to play your bass, VERY BRIEFLY (hey, we gotta check 'em out!!! ;) ), through the "Official Roscoe Demo Rig" (aka my amp that is in the shop because it's too darn big for my apartment!), and trust me...it's gonna be worth the wait....

    :D

  18. I got here as fast as I could!!! :hyper:

    I thought I smelled a new Roscoe thread!! :D

But I see the only thing missing are the.....PICS!!!!!

I'd post a pic of Ludo's baby, but alas I am a completely useless twit when it comes to editing sizes of photos...

    :(

...if anyone has the skilz, I will happily e-mail the file to them for resizing & posting...
