I received an email from Keith earlier today letting me know that my SKB-3006 has been assembled and is ready for pick up tomorrow afternoon! Damn, I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. :hyper: :hyper: I can't wait to get my hands on this bass.

    The specs are:
    SKB-3006
    Ex. grade Quilt/Spalt Maple top
    Spanish Cedar Body
    Birdseye Maple fingerboard
    Diamondwood nut
    Demeter 3 band eq
    Hipshot Ultralight tuners
    Recessed Dunlop Straplocks
    Black hardware

Now I've been around here long enough to know that without pics it just doesn't exist, so here is a pic that Gard sent me about 2 weeks ago of the finished body before assembly. I will post more pics and a review soon. :bassist: :bassist:

Beautiful top. One of my favorites.
What body wood are you using?
This means my bass moves ahead in line :hyper:

Thanks. The body wood is Spanish Cedar. It's not easy waiting for your bass once ordered...but it's always two weeks away...:D

Early on I was on the fence a little about shelling out the cash for a custom...but that all changed when the guys at Seaco Music in SC sent me a pic of that top... :ninja:
