Couldn't afford a US Decade 5, so I whipped this up. Wired passive VVT with a series switch. LOVE IT!

Very cool idea and well-executed, I dig it! I assume those are single-coil Chis under the housing?

Nice! I assume that's a refinish, too. Looks great.

Not sure I'd have gone with those knobs, but I am 100% behind them if you dig 'em.

Yep, Mike Dolan refinish and single coil Chi-Sonic's. I've gone back and forth with lots of different knobs, too.

Very nice! I don't mind that style of knob, I'd just prefer them to be black.

    How does it sound?

I'm sure its pretty interesting with a single way up front.

I put a status neck on of my Ray35s, Bassline and John East pres in all of my SBMMs.

Sweet. I've had Dolan refinish a bass for me. He does a great job.

But, I had Pat Wilkins refinish my Musicman in daphne blue.

Is yours sonic, or daphne? the are so similar. I love a mint pickguard with both. :bassist:

Oh, and I might have a Musicman SR5 case that I don't need. I need to check with someone first though. It's been in my attic for about 3 years....

Man, you just made my day if you have a case! This one is supposed to be surf green, but I get them all mixed up - good thing is that I like them all. Wilkins does great work, too, yours looks killer!

Forgot to mention that there was no processing on the bass, just straight into the interface.

Also, I have even more respect now for the cats who actually do quality demo clips! Maybe one day...haha
