    Hi,

    My Status Energy 4 (used) arrived yesterday afternoon. Plays and sounds GREAT. Paid 615 EUR (approx. $ 603). Here are some pics.

    Nice! Yours is slightly different from mine. Mine has a three-piece maple neck, and a natural ash body. What kind of wood is yours?

    I don't know exactly, I'm not a wood specialist at all.

    But now that I got it, I'm gonna email Rob Green to ask him further information about this bass.

    Hi,

    Got the info from Rob. The body is mahogany and the neck is made out of maple.

    I know Status is known for it's Graphite, but that's a sharp lookin wood bass! I like how the Mahogany compliments the black hardware. Makes it look, well...smooth (asthetically pleasing, something like that)
