I just got some Fender Flatwound strings for my Ibanez SR-400 and the strings dont fit the bridge. i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some good flat wound strings that would fit. Thanks.
  2. That's odd - most bridges are made to acommodate (sp?) nearly all standard types and gauges.

When you say they won't fit, you mean the string itself won't go thru the hole, or the ball won't seat, or...??

Hey - do you still have the old strings that came off of the bass? You could measure their gauge and buy a set that has equal or similar gauge.

What do you mean when you say "the ball won't seat"?
