I was watching tv whislt eating in my room and I heard a loud pop noise and noticed a alck of noise and light from its direction. A strange melting plastic arom,a then filled my nostrils, at which point I realised it'd kicked the bucket.

hhmm, so now I'm TVless, both my wrists are causing pain doing stuff including playing bass, my fish persihed, my pc refuses to let me install the warcraft 3 expansion etc etc and so on and so forth.

    :spit: bah humbug! :spit:

So, how are you guys doing?

You are better off. That was God telling you that it was time to blow up your television. You're lucky, when God gave me that message he did it by putting it on a bumper sticker attached to a Ford Escort that he had sit in front of me and melt all night long at a rinbow gathering...I'm sure your way was easier on your grey matter...:meh:

    your TV.......croaked.... :crying:

  5. i got a free TV from my friend. you have to turn it on 5 times before it stays on.
  6. That's what happens when you watch MTV. Someone above you, or below you is telling you not to do it.
  7. So? It's not like you're missing anything. Look on the upside, you can buy more strings for the money you don't have to spend on TV now.
  8. w00t! congrats!

stretch, take a deep breath and Get on with your life! It's not on the TV ... really.

  9. Oops misread your thread, but your tv should blow up if you put in on MTV
  10. I couldn't live without M.A.S.H. or ER.... :bawl: Gotta watch my morning shows!!! Otherwise its TB and bass the rest of the day....god I love the musical life, its so relaxing and fun! :p

edit: Also gotta watch my friend's RATM and Mudvaybe DVDs at night! :D

I had a tv that I lit of fire accidentally once. It still worked, three years after. It had also been dropped down stairs, hit with an arrow, and knocked of it's stand. Hitachi's are bad motherf***ers. :D
  14. Next time you toss a TV from high up, make sure you got the video camera :D heh...that would be fun to film...
  15. What brand was it and how old? Sounds like the Horizontal OutPut transistor gave way.

Cost you about $120 to fix... but i could do u a deal if i was there and fix it for $15....

    Just parts ya see..

Ha, TB has replaced my TV. and now with a pop up killer, there's no commercials. i love gear talk, and i'd rather talk about gear than just about anything, except breathing.
  17. yeah dude, I spend more time on TB than TV now :D
  18. i dont have cable on my TV but my zeinith is a bad mofo. it stays on but it takes a while for it to turn on properly. anyway..... my friend dropped it and beat it hand has little kids that messed around with it and bumped into it every day. but my sis broke my playstation and deleted 600 of my mp3's and countless DVD's i ripped from my collectoin so im not to happy right now..... anyway back on track to my TV it will only turn on if you run a clean signal into it so basicly if you turn it on to a channel with static it doesn't like it. and turns off. but once you get it going you can surf all the channels with static you want! and i cant complain because i got it free. and dude if you want a TV go to a PAWN SHOP or steal your friend :D

Interesting that you'd rather talking about gear than about actually playing the damn thing :D
