I wrote this song over the course of about two days. It consists totally of two-hand tapping.

    Here's some background on me:

I've been playing bass for almost two years now. I play nearly every genre except for technical/math metal...I'm nowhere near good enough to play that

This song was recorded on my 1985 Peavey T-40 with old D' Addario XL's (45-105). I ran my signal into my Zoom PFX 9003 effects processor (bass compression patch) then directly into my computer's sound card. My software is Soundforge. Basically, a poor man's studio :smug:

The song is about 90% done, but i want some feedback on it before i call it finished. Any advice or critique is greatly appreciated

Sounds very nice. It is, however, very loose. I would suggest playing to a click track and tightening up your playing so you know exactly where you're going. Also, some diversity wouldn't go astray - that fretted/tapped harmonic thing gets old pretty fast. Take some hints from Stu Hamm in that department. He mixes it up really well.

Really nice composition. I think if you cleaned it up rhythmically and played it a little more cleanly it would sound great.

That was pretty awesome-I detect heavy Manring influence, which is completly fine in my book-I've recently really put myself in his style.
