    That's cool, Nino!

I have an old neck that I defretted and sanded down, and I have been thinking about having it epoxied for fretless growl.

Now I know what to do with the blank headstock!:D

that's definitely a cool idea, especially since i'm a big trek fan. but i would think it would work with model car graphics or something similar. thanks for sharing...

  6. No, see Nino's says NCC 1701-D which was
    Captain Jean Luc Picard's ship.
So in actuality it would have to... um...ahh...I mean...
Star Trek? I don't watch Star Trek!
    I'm outta here!

    One question Nino,

When you build that warmoth, you said you where building "your" Sadowsky, I guess now you know Sadowsky are not kit bass.
But I was wondering, now that you have a real one, how they compare to each other?
    playability, sound, action, ect....

I have heard some wild things about Will Shattner and I am not sure Moe would want any part of his anatomy near Kirks - ahem. ;)

If they really are a collective, why do they have individual names, i.e. Locutus, 7 of 9, etc?

Locutus is a special case. He was created to aid in the assimilation of humans. The usual techniques that the Borg had conquered hundreds of races with did not work as well on humans, so they tried creating an individual that humans could indentify with(well, sort of  ) but was still a part of the collective, just different.

As for the normal Borg designations, such as 3rd of five or seven of 9, they were merely to identify which piece of a working unit a specific drone was.

    Or something.;)

Ready for even more geekdom? :D

IIRC, "Locutus" is Latin, meaning "mouthpiece." Perhaps in this case it could translate as "spokesman"...
