    Good for you, but no one here is going to buy it for you.

    I just pray that you have not unleashed a 6-page monster of a thread.

    I dunno about dream. Seems pretty down to earth, actually. Y'know...what you'd like to have, ultimately, not some 3000 8x10s and 200 19x32s or something. My list stands...it's really not that outrageous (though the $$$ to acheive it is...)
  7. In a way it is, but like Brendan said, this stuff is actually attainable.. I'm finally getting a handle on things at school, so now I have the time to get a job, so I expect to actually have this rig sometime soon.

    I'd actually like to give away the amp I'm using now.

    OK, I'll play...

    Basses -

    * MM Sterling (have)
    * Fender MIA Jazz (have)
    * Rickenbacker 4001 (have)
    * DeArmond Starfire Bass (have - affordable compared to Guild)
    * Some kind of Warmoth/Moses headless concoction (someday)
    * Parker Fly Bass (someday, depending how it plays)

    Amplification -

    * SansAmp RBI preamp (have)
    * Carvin DCM1000 power amp (have)
    * G-K 400RB for backup (have)
    * 2 Bag End S15-D cabs (have one)

    I'm pretty happy with the state of my gear. I've been working towards a particular (but changing) goal for some time now, and I've made good progress! The two basses I want I don't need, and I hope to get the cab in the next few months.

    So have you, thats a monster in and of itself. Great goal to work towards. However you may wanna go a little more on the power section. Also think about 2 41o's and 2 118's. One stack on each side of the drummer. Its a little cumbersome but you get great coverage no matter what side of the stage you are on. And of course, rack it!!!!

    Here's mine:

    - Fender MIA Jazz
    - Zon Sonus 5 Fretless (tehe)
    - Zon Hyperbass (one of the best basses I have ever played!)

    I could possibly attain the first one of that list, HAHA.

    - 1 Eden WT-400
    - 1 Eden D-212XLT Cab (8 ohm)
    - 1 Eden D-210XLT Cab (8 ohm)

    And in my rack I'd get a power conditioner, a tuner, and a wireless system.

    You know if you buy that amp from BassNW or BassCentral it'll probably a lot cheaper than if you got it from Musician's "Friend"

    My Wishlist:

    All I need right now is an Ampeg Br2 head and an Eden D210XLT and I'll be happy fro awhile, and in four days I get to order that. Yay! :D

    A Reverend Rumblefish would be nice too.

    EEBass04, did you say ROGUE violin bass? Remember, your list is of pure fantasy and anything that you wish would be attainable...There are no limits on price. I think I'll just imagine you said Hofner and call it a day...

    Whenever I was bored last year (which was a lot, mind you), I would draw pictures of my ultimate signal flow...

    5 string Spector (own it, hellz yeah!)

    5 string (high-C?) fretless Wal, equipped with hipshot detuners, ala michael manring

    4 string Spector, D-tuned

    Eden metro combo

    (realistically, I don't need anything more powerful...then again, i probably don't need it in the first place:D )

    EBS chorus
    EBS distortion
    EBS envelope filter
    EBS octave (used sparsely)
    EBS compressor (for slap stuff)
    Boss delay x2
    Boss flange bf3
    boss phase ph3
    signal splitter (to use both inputs on eden metro for the same bass-one clean, one 'effected')

    effect-George L

    something to look forward to!

    I forgot to add: I'd also like a Eden D-210XLT (to go along w/ the existing WT-300) for an at home practice rig. That'd be sweet.
