    Its an Ibanez EX bass
    the Cursive part says "Series"
to it is an EX Series Bass , wich was designed for the "Glam Rock scene with pointy horns"

  3. man the pickups it came with though sounds really good...there are no strings on it right now, but i hooked it up to my amp and held my Squier to the Ibanez pickups and it has a really clean/heavy sound...pretty cool in my opinion...whattya you guys think???

That it was the sound of your SQUIRE trough other pickups.
The "timbre" of the strings was actually the vibrations of your bass.
Thats not the way to test a Bass and its pickups.
You gotta put strings in the EX.. to test it.
And I think the EX sound bad...
    But thats my personal opinion.

  5. man! no way...i got new strings for this monster on saturday...and tested it, man it sounds awesome man...i've played a Soundgear before...and i really can't hear a difference with it...especially if you hook it up to a Bass EQ, it's awesome man!
