I found this in a used music equipment shop nearby. No information about it anywhere online. Any idea what it does, what it's for, how it sounds?

Costs approx. the equivalent of $40.

Looks like one of those external physical effect things you could plug into a mixer to affect one or multiple channels.

Radio Shack fans know that form factor and lettering style well from their "Realistic" product line. The reverb you're looking at appears to be the same as this one in the youtube video, but with a different name brand.

As the birdie says: cheap cheap cheap cheap

But you never know what kind of fun you can unearth with these old dinosaurs. If you're into that kind of stuff, go for it. In all honesty, a Zoom B1on will give you 100x more value for the same $40.

You're right! doesn't sound good at all. The repeat it does seems like just a random clicking noise, neither a proper delay nor reverb at all. :D Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. Not getting it!

Cool box for circuit bending... You can do more with it if you use the RCA lines as a feedback loop with another effect in it. Not awesome on bass, but a good noisemaker!!!
