n00b at slide guitar...

    I picked up a glass guitar slide today just to screw around with on my acoustic. Does anyone have any experience with it, or know of any easy songs to learn proper technique with? I'm also not sure if this is the right forum, so move it if you have to mods.

    I dabble a little bit. As far as technique , I prefer to finger-pick over a plectrum , and I don't push the slide down too hard on the strings. I apply light to medium pressure to get a sweet kinda moan outta it. Really though thats all I can tell you, im no pro.
