Took advantage of the 48 month financing at Sweetwater Music, and picked up an Ampeg PF-800. Paired with my twin Peavey PVH 210 cabs, I must say, this is the best I've sounded in years. Low end for days, and a smooth high end without being brittle at all. When I dialed in the mids, it all came together. Great amp.

I was currently using a Carvin BX500 which is a nice amp, but has its own mid punch thing going on, and I've always felt it was missing something in the bottom end. I have a Peavey mini max, which sounds great if playing live, but is noisy (fan), at home.

Here's a crappy cell phone pic, I'll post more later when I get it outside.

Welcome to the family! Had one for about 5 years now I think. It's gross overkill wattage for me, but light enough that I don't care. Has a little extra oomph on the tone, even at low volumes. Subtle, though.
