NAD! ashdown Abm 500!

ABM's are great amps! I had an ABM 300 Evo II for a short while and sold it for some reason, probably GAS. If you got it for a steal, even better!
Now go and turn that volume up!

I will never understand why Ashdown has a rack equipment with the on/off switch on the back.
That's why I got rid of mine.

 

I'm not defending them. However, most who have a rack of gear have a power strip in one rack space with an on/off switch on the front panel. It would serve the same purpose.

 

^ never is a good idea to turn on ALL the rack equipment at once.

I gigged an ABM 500 for many years. Great head.

 

I had one for a while -GREAT tone and power! But I went lightweight...

 

Can't find any ABM IIs with the chrome front. I have one and it's my main head. Awesome. I hate that goddamned powder blue SO if ya ever wanna move it...Holla at yo people!! Thanks,

Same here - I have a chrome front ABM 500 made in UK as my main gigging amp. Great live sound, flexible EQ, and adding a little tube grit to the sound is really easy if you
dial up the first (input) gain stage.

I have been touring with an Ashdown ABM EvoII for 2 years or so. In love with it. Loud, powerful and bulletproof (also, heavy haha)

 

The 1st ABM was my main amp until it gave up. What annoyed me was the power switch on the back.

 

No man. I'm in the us. I just got a Klystron 500 (the one that looks lika an actual head) for $450 shipped!!! Score!
