I've yet to start a thread here but I have decided to participate in the NAD thing.... I decided to downsize since I don't gig like I used to so I sold my Orange OBC410 to a more active musician and parlayed that into a GK MB 210 ii combo. This thing really packs a punch for the size and the lightweight thing is something I like after lugging a Powerhouse 1000 Mesa and a 100lb 4 x 10 to gigs for years. If I do get more active I can always add an extension cab and I'm set. Love the tone on this thing as well. Also I included a picture of both my basses so you can all drool.... . One is a 2000 Surf Green Fender Hot Rod PJ and one is a 2003 Fender American Standard Jazz in sunburst (to which I'm guilty of no tort). Now I just need a 58 AVRI P in white blonde and I can die content. My current small pedalboard is MXR M87 bass compressor into an EQD Dirt Transmitter into a TC Corona Chorus into a DD5 delay........ I have a Korg rack tuner that will go back in the rack after I acquire a tuner pedal. But yeah.....this is my rig.
Can you play both of those at the same time? I have collected seven basses during the the last fifty or so years. Sadly I don't get to play all of them. The list: 1963 Fender Precision bought used in January 1968. I met my wife playing this one. Hofner Violin Bass barely playable as the joints are coming apart. Warwick Streamer my 40th birthday present. Now strung B E A D. Carvin LB76 six string in white my 50th birthday present. Fitted with EMG pickups. Carvin LB76F six string lined fretless in Koa. My 52nd birthday present Also fitted with EMG pickups. Carvin LB76WP six string in Walnut. I survived a stroke to get this one! Again EMG pickups but with a Piezo bridge. Weights a ton!!! last but not least a five string built from Carvin parts, body is Tung oiled. Enjoy your collection - it'll only grow! LOL
