Starting to play around with this. Mesa does not disappoint!

What are them two black things in that small pouch on top of the manual?

    mmmmm... Mesa manual...

  4. I got mine yesterday. I had to do some mickey mousing with the speaker cables to work with my MB combo, but it works and sounds great. I eventually want to get some new speaker cabs. Have fun!

I can't recommend the Mesa 15" enough. If I could I would switch my 12" Mesa to another 15"...

They are actually 4 - felt padding for the amp/cabinet contact.

Doesn't the 12" cab sound great stacked on top the 15" cab? I would think it would.

Congrats! It's only a matter of time for me. I've been on vacation and will be through Sunday. Then it will be time to place some orders. I'll let some gear go to make room. But a TT and two Subway 15" speakers are in my future for sure.

Dang, I just got Subway 12 last week but you’re making me wish I got a 15. Just placed an order for a D-800+ but I was eyeing up the TT pretty hard.

    Congrats!
I’ve got a TT-800 coming this Friday. The more that I read about them the more excited I get. The ability to get a warm tube sound with one pre and a more modern sound with the other pre (within the same amp) is really cool!

How’s it sound with your P-bass?

It does! Just when I isolate the 12 and 15 I love the 15! They are both awesome, I would like to try 2x15 though for my taste.

don’t get me wrong - both are awesome! I personally love the sound from the 15. You won’t be disappointed either way (but when you have a chance - try the 15 ;))

I initially thought the 15 was superior, but after playing around with both, side by side, the 12 is really awesome. It sounds best if you move like 6-10 feet away I find. I like to stack the 15 on the 12

I'm a little jelly, having had to replace my amp in March, but I can't really complain too much at being the proud owner of a WD-800.

Hope you guys enjoy your new amps. ;)

I got a WD800 last year and now, this one comes out! I, too, may end up getting one; I already have the cabinets, Subway 12, 15 and 210.

It sounds good either way, I prefer the 15 on top of the 12, you can feel the thump better!

Don’t underestimate that 12 it’s all I use unless I’m doing a really big room or really big outdoor gig! I play in a 5 piece variety band and it keeps up very well, The amp has a lot to do with it also but the 12 is a beast solo!! A39DBDE4-A97E-403E-B23E-6AC1BE22E854.jpeg

I'm really interested in this amp. My one gripe is that the power switch is on the back. I keep my head in a rack and that just drives me nuts:D But I'm pretty sure I can overcome that obstacle...
