    Demeter D400.....
    Super badass.
    Like super-duper badass.

    I've owned a lot of different amps. I'll put this against ANYTHING I've ever owned. Even my all time favorite "benchmark" DB750.

    It's that good.

    And it's nutty ass loud.

    Congrats!!! I had the VT-400D for awhile and it was absolutely awesome!!! I ended up moving to the Demeter VTBP-201s-800D head, which is even louder! :D I still like the looks of the 400D better though... You really can't go wrong with any product with the Demeter name on it! James Demeter designs excellent sounding gear!

    If I may ask, have you found the output sufficient for medium sized bar gigs. That's pretty much all I play anymore but I'm still looking for a quality sound in those situations. I like the idea of this amp but my local retailer told me that this amp wouldn't keep up. The 800 is out of my price range for the time being. Is the 400D a plausibility or should I keep saving?

    The 400 is completely capable.
    I've used it in big rooms with both my 112 cabs.

    More depends on you cabs, but a medium size bar gig with no PA support is no problem.

    That's great news. I use 2 DNS 1x12s. Love these cabs. Just need a good amp to drive them. I will definitely consider the 400D to do so. Thanks!
