  1. Hey i was wondering who here names their basses.

in case you were wondering, mine are :

El Duende , my vadim 4 string

    Alouwishus, my fender squire

  2. first there was puddlesworth (my encore p-bass, now my fretless)
then there came Nancy (my yammy)

i didnt name the first two.
    Premier P copy
    Ibanez SR800A

but my current basses both have names:
    Jade-carvin LB75P fretless in walnut/maple
Ivy-Ibanez USA ATK 5 in royal blue, faded to green/gold

i bought Jade before Ivy, so when i got Ivy, i needed another "green" name. even though Jade isnt green. hence Ivy. Jade i think is just one of the coolest names.

  4. Delilah the sr400. Thats it for now... Oh yeah there is the Mutalator home assembled out of ancient garbage parts.

fun fun fun in the sun sun sun

I had a bass once that was named Wendy. It was (still is I guess) red with a black pickguard. These are the colours of the flag of Trinidad and Tobago. What does that have to do with my bass? Well about a month before I got it I was in Trinidad and Trinidadian won Miss Universe. In a country of 1.5 million this was a huge deal and she was on the cover of newspapers for a week. Her name was Wendy. Since then I haven't been able think of any good names.

LOL not major major major major? (I hope that's the right book...)

My older basses were: Binky (a Ibanez sr806) Charlene, (my loved and modified Ibanez starter bass), Woody (fender fotoflame jazz), Clyde (zon legacy bassic)...
Currently I own one axe (a Zon Lightwave fretless 5) and it goes by excalibre (yep... I think it's that good:D )

Well, let's see, I call my Peavey Cirrus 5 either "my Peavey" or "my Cirrus". I call my Modulus Quantum 5 "my Modulus."

Pretty boring, huh?? I haven't ever gotten into naming inanimate objects.
