It doubles as a hat rack, too.
Something about matching upper and lower horns appeals to me. If the headstock weren't so plain, I'd be much more interested in it.
Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake and Palmer had an Alembic 8-string that had symmetrical upper and lower horns like that.
-note the Musicman-style humbucker is round the other way- one mounting ear at the top, two at the bottom.
actually I'd find that more comfortable for thumb placement.
it's the bullwinkle bass!
Hey Rocky...watch me build a bass that looks like crap...
i agree on the rudolf! shure it isn't Prancer? or Vixon,Donar or Blitzen?
what was this guy thinking?
if it did have a differnt head stock it would look better. and yes the pup turned the other way would help.
Yikes! With the shape of that body, I'd expect something a little different out of the headstock.
Can't win 'em all.
Bullwinkle for sure
The 8x10 caught my attention before the MooseNSquirrel did

The question that occurred to me was, did he intentionally build it to look like moose antlers?
If you aren't careful, you could impale your hand on the horn going for one of those high notes.
I do not hunt animals but that thing with antlers that may deserve to be shot.
I thought it lookes like a Pedulla.
ohh here comes the hate mail!!
Maybe a Pedulla with a built-in defense mechanism.
It could definitely put a crimp in wanking up high.
