Naming your bass!

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Dan Loader, May 16, 2003.

  1. Just wondering who here has named their bass(es). I just have the one bass, a Fender P called Melanie :) My spanish guitar is called Theresa, sticking with the spanish theme, and my Tanglewood Supersix electric is called Nicola.

If you haven't named them, why not do it now? (remember all guitars are female :p )

  2. I guess this serves me right for trying to be orginal and completely overlooking the "SEARCH" button. Feel free to brand it into my head like an escaped roman slave.

i named mine "the Congressman" - it has the same colors of my US Congressmember, who, btw, stood up to the big ass corporate bastards Sony, EMI and WEA to get latino/a studio musicians paid industry standard wages.

i have a green and black warwick corvette - those colors are the same as his campaign colors.

  7. I call me Warwick Sally, but I still haven't named my others.

I haven't named my fretless, but I jokingly refer to my fretted (modified) as Bass Of Mild Peril. I can't play anything like Jaco, so I can't call it Doom...
