NAMM 2006 First Photos

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by MrBEAR, Jan 20, 2006.

  1. While visiting the Rickenbacker Forum this morning I spied some photos from the show that I thought may be of interest here.

Scroll down just a bit in the following link and you can see some of the latest offerings from Aguilar, (Silver Grillclothe on cabs and head sleeves for the AG 500 and DB 750) and Epifani (the new performance line).

    Enjoy!

judging by the control scheme and visuals, I'd say this new epifani line looks like maybe a "budget" offering?

There is an ad in the Feb. issue of BP. "More affordable Epi line."

    Details please.

A "budget" Epifani amp linie would be right up my alley. I hope the get the press release out soon on their website.

  11. Hey Guys,

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you, at home and not at NAMM, so the best I can do is check back at the Rickenbacker Forum and see if I can get anymore info from the one who posted the photos. Only info I've found is the BP ad that says a more affordable Epifani line.

  12. Joel from The Groove Shoppe said that these are a more affordable line from Epifani, as many have already thought. I'm sure they'll be great.

this is probably OK as far as CUP rules are concerned as it's specifically solicited - ivanmike

This is my baby...so I'll list it first. I've been gigging with it for three months now and I love it! :D

    Here's the cabs:

This is the new Pro Series:

The cabs shown with amps will undergo some changes. The actual amps look better than the computer generated ones. I don't know why they don't put up pictures of the actual amps.

Wow, you guys haven't been loafing, eh? You have just given me some very good reasons to spend some time at my local Peavey dealer this spring! :D

When you say that the 700 is your "baby", does that mean that this was one of your personal projects? It (and the rest of the grear) look(s) very nice!

    I can't wait to see your all-tube head! ;)

    Again, nice work!

    Tom.

  17. Wow! I agree with Tom. Peavey sure has my attention again for bass after several years of "ho-hum". I was beginning to think that GK was the only "reasonably priced" gear that was up to date.

I designed the preamp for the Tour 700 and 450.

  19. Any info on how much a new Tour 700 weighs? Is it a significant improvement over the Max 700?

  20. Why aren't the new peaveys running on 2 ohm anymore?
