I'll be hitting NAMM again this year and just wanted to throw a thread out there to see if anyone wanted me to check out anything specific and give feedback if it's relevant (pics, videos etc). Plus- I want to make sure I'm not gonna miss anything cool- suggestions of not to be missed gear is helpful for sure (it's a damn huge show with too much to see). Also, if any of you others are gonna be knockin' around let me know- would dig meeting some of you in person. We'll be there Thursday and Friday, and maybe part of Saturday morning. Good times.....
see if you can get an update on the Peavey Mini Max head that was announced last year as coming out and never did
Ask Peavey if there is going to be another year of R&D on the MiniMega 1000 they have already been placing full page ads in magazines about.
you know, somehow I didn't find their booth last year either. Where were they? I hit the entire show in just over one day and was on a mission.... If you're gonna be around let me know- I'll buy you a beer, or a bottled water
Bergantino and anything mini/micro amp wise would be great. Be very interested to see what's new in micros this year as I need a backup that will fit in a gig bag. Who will have the first 1000w <3lb amp with a tube pre?!
You mean more interesting than a "champagne colored" cabinet? I'm not saying the new cab isn't pretty, but if that is their new thing for 2015, it must have been a slow year in the R&D shop.
Nothing wrong with that. They have some great products on the market, no reason to try and outdo themselves every year like the auto industry. When I see threads about the 2014 Gibson.... or 2015 Fenders models I think of cars................
The introduction of a new color scheme isn't going to get my attention. With the success of the TH range since 2012, I wonder if they really need an update or new product.
Another new product/company that people are buzzing about is the Trickfish. If you could swing by their booth, I would be curious to hear your impressions of their 1000w head. It appears to be designed to do the clean/pristine thing, and the selection of EQ frequencies would work well for me. The pontif's work has my attention.
