NAMM stamped in pickup cavity on Ric

    Just recently I have had an issue with my 2016 Ric 4003S bridge pickup cutting out intermittently (possibly linked to the 3-way switch). But when I took the pick guard off I noticed 'NAMM' written in the pickup cavity. I am now thinking my bass was demo'd by Ric at NAMM 2016? Anyone with alternative theories??
