Anyone know of any new cabs/heads/preamps that were released today?

I already know about the 3 new Hartke cabs, but that's about it. :)

    I agree.
The new Pro 500 head looks REALLY nice.

  9. Yuk! Too many knobs. I guess if you're a tweaker, it might be cool.

Good to see that Peavey is doing such a good job of improving their image.

    More knobs = more flexibility

It's not really all that much, it's just parametric. :)

  11. My current bass amp has five knobs. Which is enough for me. My ideal bass amp would have three knobs - Volume, Bass, and Treble. It would also run at 200+ watts with six KT88 power tubes.

That's all the flexibility I need.:)

    But to each his own.

I'm not sure if its only me, but does that Peavey 4x10 remind you of Eden?(Dual Ports)

Not really, they've always had the same ports, they just put it on the top of the cab, rather than on the bottom. :)

I like the looks of their new cabs.

I guess your right they do look different, but theres ports on the top and bottom. They look much better than the TVX series. Much better speakers too.(eminence)

I know. I might sell off my rig for one of the new Peavey's. I was originally going to go with possibly an SWR Goliath 3 (4x10) and a G-K 800RB, because I didn't think that much new Peavey amp stuff would be out this year.

I'll try the new Peavey stuff.
I have a feeling I'll be going with that.

I really like the BAM combo, but I don't think it'd kick enough db out to be usable, really. I usually jam in smaller rooms, so...

Regardless, by next year, I should have an entire new rig. :)
