    there's nothing ironic at all - not to question the vaulted onion ;) but the difference is that radio pays artists/copyright holders for the usage of their songs, something conspicuously absent from file sharing.

    sorta puts a big old hole right in the middle of that parody.

    What's funny is that the article in question would have been pretty accurate about 30 some years ago (I think) when the BBC started playing popular music. It was quite the uproar until the record companies realised sales were going up.
