{} I believe this a 2010 model, not sure. It's a sonic blue finish, but the nitro has yellowed nicely. I bought it used. It came with the Fender logo on it. Pickup is a Hanson (Lakland) Neo-Punch. Currently strung with brand new set of DR Hi-Beams. While I didn't exclusively tour with this bass, it did get used on tv a few times (Tonight Show). Will ship in a Fender skb style hard case. Buyer pays shipping (lower 48 please) $999 via PayPal {} {} {} {}
"Duty rates for musical instruments vary depending on the country of origin. Duty rates for countries that have normal trade relation (NTR) status with the United States range from free to 6%." https://www.usitc.gov/publications/docs/tata/hts/bychapter/1000c92.pdf Looks like the answer to be on page 5 (5%)... Really though, some sellers don't want the extra hassle of shipping internationally and, from experience, for good reason... It can be a drag...
many many thanks for this! it is still shocking that it's cheaper to import from Japan than the US. Ill keep my eyes open for a Nash elsewhere I hope someone pics this up and treats it with the respect the bass deserves! cheers
I live in the UK and should really stop looking at this bass - but it is sweet. If only the UK was sensible about importing instruments
Interested. How is the action on the bass? Straight neck and or any issues? Also, the last fretboard maker has that nice clay look but the other markers look whiter. Is it just a reflection in photo? Are they all clay markers? Weight? Thanks.
No clay markers. Action and everything is great. It truly never got played enough vs it looking like it's been played forever. I don't have a scale, but I'd guess in the lighter side of 8lbs.
Bass is sold. Thanks for the interest. I apologize if I haven't replied to everybody's PM's. I'm on tour in Asia and access to TB has been spotty (especially in China where I am currently)
