I've finally decided to let this bass go. I had this for sale a while back, the sale fell through twice once due to an unverified PayPal account and the second over the cost of shipping. This is a 2007 Bill Nash PB-57 two tone burst in medium relic. The nut width is slightly more than 1.5" wide at the nut, in fact it measures 1 9/16" outside edge to outside edge. It is slightly chunkier than a standard Jazz neck profile, I'd describe it as slightly thicker than a Jazz and not at all like a P baseball bat. The profile is very comfortable to play and sits in your hand well. It has Jason Lollar Alnico 5 pickup, CTS pots, orange drop cap and swithcraft jack which are all stock from Nash. This bass came from Nash with a neck plate that has a period correct serial number hand stamped into it. The bass currently has a set of newer Ernie Ball round wounds on it but if you prefer flats I can throw in a set of lightly used Pyramid flat wound strings. If you switch over to the flats the bass will need a full set up. If you like flats Pyramids are fantastic strings. Nash ultralight case included. When I got the bass it had a blank headstock, I installed a period correct Fender decal which has been lightly reliced to match the relic level on the bass. I have a set of Schaller strap locks on it currently, they are coming off and the original strap buttons, thumb rest and tag for the case is included. I recently moved and I cannot find the original hang tag and covers. If I find them before someone buys this they will be included. Weight is 8.4 lbs. I have played this on 3 hour gigs with ease. Plays and sounds simply fantastic, the action is currently set up fairly low with no fretting out or buzzing. Minimal if any fret wear. With the flats on this bass the action was the lowest of any bass I've ever owned. Records and tracks superbly. This bass is actually a better player than my Nash Jazz but I just don't want to let the Jazz go. Not interested in any trades at this time. $1,100.00, buyer to pay actual shipping. Can you include a photo of the full length of the fingerboard? Would like to see how it is reliced/worn. Thanks. Koog

To answer the questions I have been asked: I have used both UPS and FedEx Ground. I find UPS to be the better of the two. I bought this Nash here on TB. Yes I'll take PayPal and if it is a deal breaker I'll do $1,200 shipped.
The bass is marked on the top edge of the headstock. I've had 3 Nash basses, none were signed in the same place nor the same way. Deal pending.
One last thing that I forgot, I installed the Mojotone tone mod on the volume pot, its a 220K resistor in parallel with a 471pf capacitor to preserve high end frequencies and improve the taper when rolling back the volume pot. The volume mod is soldered in parallel between the first and second lugs (2 open lugs) of the volume pot. I find that this keeps the bass from sounding muddy at lower volume levels.
I searched my computer and found these additional pics from when I purchased the bass. First two are from the original retailer which I believe was Bass San Diego according to the TB'er I purchased it from who lived in San Diego and purchased it locally. The second two are the photos from the prior TB owner, all 4 appeared in his classified listing when I purchased the bass. Did a fret polish last night and cleaned up the entire bass. I found a vintage Precision that I would really like to snag. $1,100, USPS or Certified Check only, No PayPal, plus actual shipping.
