Not sure if there are any Fire Theft fans out here but I have been listening to the new CD lately and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of bass Nate used to record this album. The sound is everything I am looking for in a bass.

I have seen him play live with Gibson Thunderbird's, P-basses, and a J-bass once but wasnt sure what he used in the studio for this album.

The ultimate tone I want is on the track "Its Over" and "Heaven"

    anyone?

  3. I'm pretty sure he was using his custom P-Bass....I'm sure I've seen a studio photo of him recording with it. He plays his P on most of the SDRE records as well.
