I was listening to Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster" from Live in London 1995 on You Tube (FF to 1:20 for song start) and was wondering what effects pedal Nathan was using, if any? I have no experience with bass effects and don't own any so please excuse my dumb question here. Is the "dub" effect achieved with an octave/harmonics pedal or just plain EQ'ing of the amp? I really love that sound and imo his overall bass playing/talent on everything I've heard of his is incredible.

I don't hear any effects at all. Just the sound of a Stingray. Sounds like a bit of high gain on the signal.
