Newbie here! Went to a junk shop today and found a 'National' violin bass Ser # EG700V etc., etc...The guy wants 300 Washingtons. Trying to find info? Looked in vintage price guide, but only two descrips for late '60s. Have a hunch that this is an '90s Asian import. Any help would be appreciated.........Thanx, T-kat

I'd do an online search for National guitars first. If nothing there, I'd contact a vintage broker (Gruhn, whoever). They can give you details and a value. I wasn't aware of any National asian imports but vintage is not my thing. I'm guessing if it's a US National, it should state as much somewhere on it.
