    Couldn't pass up this eBay deal. Always wanted to try one of these. Plays and sounds fantastic. Only issue is I forgot how much a long scale bass effects my hand. After 15 minutes of playing my fretting hand is numb. Probably due to the fact these necks are pretty fat. But, man oh man I want to love this bass since it sounds killer.

    Thanks! Wish I could say the color was original....but it's not. But it looks like it was done probably in the 80's since it's pretty road worn and faded. Looks cool. I think the original color was natural.
     
  4. Luv a G-3! Dig the color even if it is not original. Tune it down a whole step and capo the second fret if that makes it more comfortable.

    The G-3 was my first good bass. Bought one in 1978! :)
