NBD! 1984 Mockingbird

    Under a palm tree
    I went pawn shop hunting today and found this little guy.

    The Bad:
    1. Frets are really worn
    2. Pickups are not original
    3. Middle position on selector is out.

    The Good:
    1. Even with low, worn frets it set up well and plays nice.
    2. The pickups were changed to Rio Grande Muy Grandes. Without a doubt my favorite P Bass pickups. I have them in another bass and sweat by them. They're not cheap. $140.00 each.
    3. Because of the wiring issue I got it for $165.00!

    I love old B.C. Rich basses and this will get gigged hard.

    ha! looks like it's in pretty good shape. hope you get it playing the way you want! congrats on your new instrument! :thumbsup:

    It certainly reliced but in a good way. It plays better than I expected given its age and use. The neck pickup sounds amazing. Love LOVE the Rio Grandes.
