    Knobs (top to bottom): Volume, Treble, Bass
    Switches (top to bottom): Pickup Selector, Series/Parallel, Active/Passive

    Congrats on your "new" bull. May it serve you well.

    A (much plainer looking) black El Toro was my main instrument for over a decade back in the late 80s/early 90s. There was not a single thing that I didn't like about it.

    They aren't the same as the L series. From neck to bridge:

    Pickup selector

    Bass boost on/off (puts all 4 coils into series for bass boost, disables the pickup selector in boost)

    Preamp on/off

    Congrats, it's a lovely one.
