NBD: 2011 Family Photo

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by IotaNet, Jun 4, 2011.

  1. This is a pretty complete family, yes? :D

    * A J-Bass
    * A P-Bass
    * A MusicMan Bass
    * A Boutique Bass

    It's over my self-imposed 3-bass limit but they're all great players and they were all excellent buys.
  2. VERY nice! If you had to pick one favorite?

    the fact that you play urban gospel with a murdered out (stealth) bongo is awesome!

    good looking crew you have there.

    Nice collection, Iota!
  9. That boutique bass is Valenti #004 ... with an East U-Retro preamp. It's BEAST of a bass.

    If I had to pick one of these, it would definitely be the Bongo.

    I could see that. I bet that Bongo can do most everything.

    Three five inline headstocks, that's not too common.:smug: I remember when you were new and had a ton of questions. It's good to see that you know what works for you.
  13. Doc -- doesn't that seem like a million years ago??? I went from being a newbie to a REAL bass player. I'm still amazed. Thanks to you and all of the long-time TB'ers for guiding me though the maze.

    Regarding the headstocks, I was just thinking about that the other day. The 5-inline thing has really grown on me -- especially on the Fenders. They look like a bigger, beefier version of a Strat.
  14. All you need now is a fretless and you're complete.

    That's a weird way to spell Valenti. ;)
  20. Nicely done, Nino. :cool:
