    Hey all:

    Here is my as new 2013 Bongo PDN, HHp.

    Rumor has it only one in this config was made.

    Sig thumbrest added. And TI flats.....

    What do you all think?

    I think "the only one" and "thumb rest added" are two things that I would not have put together on the same bass. Even so, that is a pretty nice looking Bongo.

    EDIT: The OP says the thumb rest is attached with tape. I think this was a very smart move on his part!

    Sure looks nice - very nice color. Doesn't kill the grain, enhances it.

    that is a great looking and I am sure sounding bass. MM does it right. Great necks

    Excellent, even better! (Original pg stashed somewhere safe, one might assume?) That is a sweet looking bass.

    Nugatory, simply put on with Non Marring 3M tape.

    That's how I put one on my Marco bass. That MM has beautiful grain and matching headstock to boot.

    Would you mind sharing what specific tape you're using? Product number/specific name? I've thought about doing this same thing with my EBMM Sterling, but wasn't sure which tape would be best to hold a thumb rest.

    The Bongo looks terrific, BTW.
