8.6 lbs of sunburst, tort, and thunder. Accept no substitutes.
Nice. The grain pattern is reminiscent of Jupiter.
Thanks man. I think I'll name her Jupiter.

Beautiful bass dude!
The simplistic beauty of a bass that doesn't have any unnecessary whistles and bells, still has tonnes of variety through technique and right hand placement, and doesn't have a single bad, unusable sound in it, is just perfect! IMO YMMV IMHO etc. etc.
Just add flats!
Yep. Flats. Nice bass... Happy day!
Love getting gear from Sweetwater. Congrats on getting one under 9lbs! Ive got one thats a hair over 8lbs and its a stunner!
I have several Precisions already wearing TI Jazz Flats and LaBella DTFs. I'm also sitting on a set of each, and a set of Low Tension LaBella flats on the way. I'll probably leave the rounds on it for a (short) while, then the Low Tension LaBellas.
Simply beautiful congrats.
And does Sweetwater take the best pictures or what?
I agree, I have several basses with active electronics, 3 band EQ, etc... I almost always reach for my good old Precision come gig time.
They take much better ones than I do. The dealings I've had with Sweetwater have always been top-notch.
I love rounds on my P basses specifically Bass Boomers it makes the instrument so versatile with a slight twist of the tone knob I can go from Motown to Punk in a heartbeat.
Hopefully you leave that sticker on so everyone knows how fresh you are.
I love the 3-tone sunburst specifically in this pattern. Not sure why the 3-tone sunburst that I see sometimes is just too 'bright'. It goes to light brown color instead of darker brown color. I love the darker burst like this.
Nobody gonna point out that the bridge in the 1st (head-on) picture is seriously off-kilter!?
That is a beauty. Happy playing!
I have a bass that sounds like crap. I call it Uranus.
Congrats! If it plays like the one in my avatar, you're gonna love it.
