When you've got Benavente, Roscoe, Lull, Sadowsky, Ritter, Status and quite a few other basses finding the right bass to add can be challenging. Not today though...

Enter the Yamaha BX-1!!! It's got plenty of mojo and a ton of 80's style, what more could someone with arguably some of the best basses in the world want (other than the skill to play them that is)?

Nice stable. What's the funky black one in the middle right. I like.

    You mean the Ritter?

Btw, quiver is appropriate as that thing is very arrowly. Nice!

Very interesting add to the collection. And a good one. Its one of the best playing basses of the era and has a cool look. Its an often overlooked bass.

    Have fun!

I've never heard of a Ritter before viewing yours. I went to their website. Wow!

Oh wow, first time I've seen one outside of the 5-string one that a guy at work is trying to sell me. Sounded good and was easy to play, very tight stringspacing though. Congrats on the new bass! :)

Ritters are amazing basses, many are afraid to gig 'em - mine has seen plenty of seedy bars. I don't worry much about theft as few in Oregon know a Ritter's value.

I didn't know how much they cost "cough" either until I went to their website. I figured since I hadn't heard of that brand it was above my pay grade.
