I purchased an Apollo bass here from another TB'er recently. I had the pots replaced, proper set up (including shimming the neck) to lower the action, new flats and now it sounds just wonderful! It won't be my main player, but is just like the first bass I ever bought with my own money in 1974...So, definitely a sentimental purchase.

Looks like it's in great shape. I sold the first bass I bought with my own gig money (Epi EA260), like an idiot, I've since replaced it for mostly sentimental reasons. ("Like an idiot" meant to apply to the preceding phrase, not the following, but it's likely true enough for both. ;))
  3. Beautiful bass, congratulations.
Play a little with it for us drool

Cool looking bass, it reminds me of an old Gibson.

  6. Now that is a cool looking bass, hows it play and sound? Short scale or long?

Beautiful. Wow, I am a sucker for scroll headstocks on electric basses.

Thanks for the kind words. She's a short scale and really fun to play.
